Had a wonderful experience at Bice, located in Tower City Center near the Ritz Hotel. We started off the evening with Mojito's for the ladies - excellently made and loaded with fresh mint and limes. For appetizers, we selected the Calamari with a spicy tomato sauce - the calamari was excellent, great texture and the sauce had a tinge of spice. We also had the tuna - very fresh, and the mozzerella and tomato salad - fresh home made mozzerella with sprights of fresh basil and olive oil.
For our first course, the gnocchis were a hands down favorite - melt in your mouth with a gorgonzola cheese sauce - you can order the pastas as half orders. The mushroom raviolis were also ordered as a half order, and they too were tasty! The raviolis were homemade and the mushroom sause was exquisite.
The entrees varied per person. The sea bass was a favorite, perched on a serving of potatoes. The pork was also chosen and was tasty.
Desserts were wonderul - fresh creme caramel with berries, and there was a wide selection of desserts! Coffee was fresh and had not been sitting in the pot.
All in all, a great experience but very expensive - everything is a la carte. On Fridays and Saturdays, a DJ plays songs with a feel of a European Disco. This restaurant is the place for a special occasion, a bite before a show, etc. You do not need to be dressed up, several people were in jeans and came in from shopping.
