A night at down the local casino is always a bit of fun.
The food in the main restaurant has always been delicious. The bistro bar is good for the cost but I've found it to be OK (nothing special) but then we didn't go with particluarly high expectations so we weren't disappointed.
There is always a crowd down there but beware, the minimum bet on the tables can vary dramatically based on the night you go down and also how busy it is.
We've been to Vegas and other casinos abroad many times over the years and so we're used to large casinos with friendly staff (and free booze). Unfortunately the majority of croupiers here don't want to engage and have banter which is a real shame as I'd prefer to loose money at a table where I'm having fun with the staff! Luckily my husband and I are a happy couple so we enjoy ourselves anyway and I don't think the long faces are purely in the Maxims casino as unfortunately it's the attitude we often have in the UK.
Having been fortunately to visit casinos elsewhere, It's really hard not to compare against our casinos and so I've put the scoring as a 4 due to the overall experience of the main restaurant as well and remember, at the end of the day you make your own fun!
