I love this restaurant and had to get it added to Tripadvisor to write a review. Its location is a little strange being on the edge of the large George Street car park and not on a street in the town itself, but this can be a distinct advantage when its raining. The building is clearly old and a remnant of an Andover of the past. Inside the restaurant is on two levels and is tiny having less than 40 covers.
It has now gone to an "eat as much as you like" format with a slightly lower price Sun to Thu (£14.95), and higher on Fri and Sat (£16.95). For this you get a slightly cut down menu (no fish dishes any more) but this still includes a wide variety of Thai starters, crispy duck, Thai soups and a good selection of main dishes. The presentation and quality of the food is excellent, much better than is the norm for a fixed price menu. This especially applies to the starters and the main dishes (so avoid one of the crispy duck or the soup unless you have a ravenous appetite).
If I was to criticize any aspect it would be the soup, where I have had better, but otherwise I have not had a disappointing dish from many visits.
The staff are friendly and attentive.
