On Thursday 17th October, myself, my wife and son went for a meal at The John Paul Jones Public House but were very disappointed.
When we arrived, We were seated by staff then were later told we couldn't sit there as it was reserved. When I asked where else we could sit, the waitress just pointed loosely and said over there somewhere then walked off. Rude.
Once we were seated again, we ordered food. It came and the waitress asked if we needed anything. Yes. Cutlery.
Once we were given knives and forks, we began eating but my Aberdeen Angus burger was extremely over cooked, it was almost too hard to cut through. My wife's pastry on her steak pie was also undercooked. I went to the bar to tell the waitress about the burger and she told me to fetch it back to the bar myself!
Finally another burger came, however this one was raw in the centre. I have photo evidence. When we told the waitress about this she said 'some people like it like that'. Again, how rude? Also, if this is the case, why do they not ask when ordering then?
We then ordered dessert, which arrived while our tables were still full of main course plates etc. our table wasn't the only table not being cleared either.
So overall, the food was shocking and service was horrendous.
