I came across the hotel on the way around britain on my bike. The landlord (mark) and landlady(Carol) could not have been more friendly and even made me a sandwich at 11pm when i arrived.
It is in the middle of nowhere, buts the views are glorious and the welcome magnificent. Yes the room needed updating but i was only paying £40!!!! They told me that they would be starting to modernise soon.
I would go there again and have told all my friends and anyone else i can find that it is worth going to just to see a smile on someones face as you walk through the door. 10/10 to Mark and Carol.
From a grateful traveller, Robin Seymour
