My husband and I stayed one night at this bed and breakfast while visiting a friend in Camberley, and I wouldn't recommend it. We've stayed at some of the best hotels in the UK, and love bed and breakfasts, but also realise sometimes you just need somewhere to lay your head. However, for £95 a night we expected more than this. As soon as we entered, we didn't feel welcome, and our room was small, with extremely dated furniture etc, and not clean. There were make-up stains on the towels and bed. I'm pretty sure it had all been washed, and make-up does stain, but you either need to bleach the towels etc or buy new ones. There were no toilletries in the bathroom, just some undentifiable orange stuff in a dispenser in the shower which could have been washing-up liquid for all I know. We've stayed at B&Bs who leave lovely things in the room for less than £95. The breakfast was small and made up of cheap ingredients and the staff were again unfriendly. My husband and I are not usually ones who don't enjoy having a night away somewhere, and we don't complain lightly but this would have been almost bearable for £30 a night, but an absolute joke for £95. I can't believe the good reviews this place has received. Stear well clear.

I spent a week here which I must say was very enjoyable.
The staff were fantastic, always very accommodating & nothingwas to much for them.
The meals that I had in the evening were very enjoyable and reasonable for the price.
The room was lovely and well laid out, it not a little on the small side, never the less always cleaned nad left as though I had just arrived in it.
If its a small family run place without al the glitz you are looking for this is the one for you.
I will be back at some point.

With all due respect, the rooms were beautifully laid out and it has a perfect location. All the ingredients are there for a wonderful stay but the staff were very unaccommodating to our needs and were very brash/unfriendly over the phone when trying to make a booking. They know they're successful and they've adopted a very laissez-faire attitude as a result. No hotel should be 'too big for their boots' and this one certainly is.

I stayed with my family for three nights at the Burwood House. The staff were friendly and welcoming when we arrived after a very long drive, and continued to be so for the rest of the stay. The decor was clean and modern. The room was large and very comfortable - probably the most comfortable hotel room I have ever been in. The gardens looked lovely - we overlooked the pool and would have liked to take a dip - sadly the wrong time of year, much to my 4 yr olds disappointment!
We did not eat our evening meals in the hotel, but if they were as good as the breakfasts they must have been excellent.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in the Camberley area, and it will certainly be my first choice if we stay in the area again.
