Myself and several colleagues stayed in this hotel most nights of each week for the past 12. We have been staying on business.
The rooms are spacious, clean and well presented (certainly the newly decorated ones). Beds are large with a selection of different pillows shoud you require. I would say becareful if you get a corner room as some of these are near the air conditioning system which can get a bit noisey about 11pm...
The breakfast is excellent.. Plenty of choice of hot and cold foods.
We ate evening meals in the restaurant and bar also and found the food to be generally poor. Its like they really try but cant quite get it right.. Not cheap either
Drinks are pricey too with a bottle of house red costing about £16.50 and a beer (depending on which brand you have) between £3.50 and £4... I suppose this is normal for Southern prices but I still think its steep.
There is also a gym and pool. The gym is quite small but has everything you might need and the pool has a jacuzzi. There is also a steam room and sauna.
The hotel staff are very good... always courteous and pleasant and willing to help resolve any problems,.
Overall, would i stay again? Yeah i probably would however we had our acommodation payed by clients and got quite a good rate and I'm not sure the value of the hotel at standard rates.
