Myself and several colleagues stayed in this hotel most nights of each week for the past 12. We have been staying on business.

The rooms are spacious, clean and well presented (certainly the newly decorated ones). Beds are large with a selection of different pillows shoud you require. I would say becareful if you get a corner room as some of these are near the air conditioning system which can get a bit noisey about 11pm...

The breakfast is excellent.. Plenty of choice of hot and cold foods.

We ate evening meals in the restaurant and bar also and found the food to be generally poor. Its like they really try but cant quite get it right.. Not cheap either

Drinks are pricey too with a bottle of house red costing about £16.50 and a beer (depending on which brand you have) between £3.50 and £4... I suppose this is normal for Southern prices but I still think its steep.

There is also a gym and pool. The gym is quite small but has everything you might need and the pool has a jacuzzi. There is also a steam room and sauna.

The hotel staff are very good... always courteous and pleasant and willing to help resolve any problems,.

Overall, would i stay again? Yeah i probably would however we had our acommodation payed by clients and got quite a good rate and I'm not sure the value of the hotel at standard rates.

“Very Poor Stay and a rip off!”

Checked into this hotel for 1 night due to working away on business. When I got to my room I found the furniture chipped and damaged, The window would not open to allow any airflow, The courtesy tray with complimentary tea and coffee looked like it had come out of a local canteen, The Bathroom was in a urgent need of a refurbishment. When I went down for breakfast the next morning my breakfast plates and tea cup stuck to the table due to it being so sticky and not being cleaned properly. When I checked out I was going to complain about this stay but the lady on the desk was abrupt and seemed the type not to listen to complaints. I was charged £8 for parking in a unsecured car park and the room cost £150 for Bed and Breakfast. I feel I did not get value for money for this stay and would not recommend this hotel. I have since complained to Intercontinental Hotels and received some money off vouchers for my next stay in one of their hotels.

I stayed in this hotel for 15 nights,
I arrived a bit early at 11.30 am, I was so disappointed when the girl at the front desk asked me to wait for 2 hours until a room is ready, I had to drop my luggage & went out shopping in the high street nearby, where also you can find some bars to hang out.
The room was very clean, tidy & functional, with iron and ironing board, cozy shower, TV is boring as usual.
I had some problems with breakfast, I asked for early breakfast box to be delivered each working day before 6.00 am, I was told it’s not possible!!
Breakfast buffet in weekends stays until 11.00 am which is good, you get some variety but there’s nothing special, if you stay for weeks as I did you easily get bored.
Didn’t have enough time to try the pool or the health club but they look ok.
Although I didn’t try many hotels in UK but I still think paying 138₤ per night is a rip off.
Anyway this hotel is adequate for a short business trip or a relaxing weekend with your spouse, don’t try to stay longer.

We have just come back from a 3 night stay at this hotel. We booked a package direct with the hotel and value for money it was! The restaurant was expensive but we were 'inclusive' which means we paid for the food before we went within the package. Otherwise, we probably would not have eaten at the hotel as it was too expensive. However having said that the food was first class, the taste, the presentation and the service was fantastic. We had a lovely room. There were 5 of us and were told before we went that we would be cramped but we were not we had loads of space in fact we have never stayed in a room that bid with 5 of us. The hotel and all its staff were very accomodating with any whim that we may have had, not that there was any in particular. Everything was great and would well recommend this hotel to any family going for a short break Oh the hotel doesnt look much from the outside though but once your through the doors ..... its great. Quite hard to find too.

Stayed here after a night with some friends out and the rooms are functional, tidy and comfortable...Breakfast for weekends is served until a reasonable hour (11am) and they're not in a hurry to kick you out the door to checkout (1pm) .

In general this is inline with most corporate grade hotels, its by no means cheap (106 per night on a weekend when we stayed) but at the end of the day, if you dont like the price, dont book it...

Its a good standard in general in line with other london hotels of this calibre in terms of pricing...
