Food was excellent and there is definitely something for everyone, the service was at the highest standard everyone's smiling, happy to help, friendly and really easy to talk too. there is always a great atmosphere in the Bell, from staff and customers. It seems to get better every time I go. It has a real homely and comfortable feel and is beautifully decorated. 5/5

I have been here quite a few times now - it is a 20 minute drive so hardly local but it's our 1st choice when eating out in a pub in this area. Great service-very reasonably priced for the quality. Great atmosphere & decor with nice lighting (my pet hate is bright lights when eating). I have been telling all my friends about it already as I love the place

Having been impressed with our first lunch time visit we took our grand daughter in the evening to celebrate her twenty second birthday. The meal was delightful and the evening candle light atmosphere first class. Last week we returned for lunch with friends and had the 'fixed' price meal which was first class value and excellent food. I had a very large bowel of tomato and chilli soup followed by a Barnsley chop cooked to perfection. We will certainly be going again!

Hugh, Ruth and staff did a great job on the recent wine tasting, my wife and I and two friends took a table for 4 and had a great evening most probably topped that night by the first class food that the kitchen turned out to match some excellent wines. Another good job - well done J&L
