Standard Travelodge, so WYSIWYG. Slightly jaded (wearing-out, shiny chair arms, slightly grubby shower grouting) but otherwise clean and fine. Big family room. No aircon - and no fans available - boiling hot day - managed to open safety-sealed windows a little wider with the tiny key provided with room key.
Main point to watch for - VERY HARD TO FIND. Ina tiny dog-leg. If you miss the almost hidden 'Little Chef' turning, you will be back on a dual carriageway for a good few miles. It took us well over and hour to locate, from Coventry. My hotel confirmation had no phone number on it. (Yes Yes, all my own fault, I know, but my next 8 weekends are booked with family events.)
Take detailed maps and read the Travelodge Web site. I only took an AA Routeplanner printout, and it did not help too well. Other people I met had this prob, too.
Next to a petrol station / car wash and Little Chef cafe.
TIP - if you pass Blooms Garden Centre on main road to Rugby, you are 100 yards away - it is hidden away on opposite side of road - but have to double back off the dual carriageway to reach it. It's about 5 miles BEFORE Rugby, coming from Coventry / Birmingham. AS others mentioned - yes, it is remote.
TIP - take a fan in hot weather. You'll be glad you did. Very noisy road, but comfy bed and I was tired I slept like a top.
I paid £26 for the room on one of their Web site deals.
Hope this helps.
