Situated on the busy A27 Brighton Portsmouth road this is one of those bland and instantly forgettable hotels. The room was small but adequate enough and the bathroom spacious by comparison but the shower was uncontrollable and threw water all over the floor. The bed was just big enough for the two of us and the bedding not big enough to cover the bed itself. On the plus side the full English breakfast was good and the dining area was pleasant. On the whole though this is not a place I'd rush back to visit.

I stayed here last night for a 1 night business trip. It seemed to be the best hotel in the area.
It is clean and functional, a bit in the middle of nowhere, placed between Lancing and Shoreham. The room was spacious, clean but very dated and the quality of furnishings etc, are more reflective of a 2* than 3*, even though a single room is £75.
In terms of amenities, it has a spacious restaurant/bar/sunny conservatory, but is located on a busy motorway, across from a small airport.
The restaurant menu has a lot of fish, I presume the proximity to the sea dictates this. I was disappointed that the bar didn't offer a different style menu, to provide options. I choose not to eat at the hotel, but rather to travel into Brighton.
The breakfast times are limited, as are access times for entry etc, the breakfast ingredients are cheap so not very appetizing.
If you have to be in Lancing, it seems to be the best option, but I wouldn't return. Brighton at 8 miles away seems to have more options.
