I guess I should have known that this wouldn't be a very nice hotel when I saw the exterior photo of the place. BUT I couldn't turn down the price. It was the cheapest in the area. The front desk staff was really nice. When I got my key and started down the hallway, the smell made me realize this wasn't going to be the most comfortable stay. (I am very particular about hotels) Then when we got to the room, I checked for bedbugs...didn't find any but i found some other bugs later. My friend tried to take a shower and made the mistake of turning on the bathroom light and it shocked the heck out of him. I literally heard it on the other side of the room! It sounded like something had been knocked on the ground. So he took his shower and as I was on the internet I saw there were ants crawling on the lamps by the bed. OH HELL NAH! I called immediately and tok them that I wanted a new room. Got a new room that seemed cleaner but I can tell there is some type of mold or something I'm allergic to because I kept sneezing.
I wouldn't recommend this place if you are "booshe" like I am because places like this keeps me from having a good night's sleep. But we only needed it for about 6 hours. So I dealt with it.
Rooms farther from the front desk seemed to be a bit cleaner....well at least they didn't have b...
