I stop in here when I'm in the area. It's basic food, designed for an older crowd, so you'll need the salt and pepper. The crabby hostess on my Sunday morning visit was a bit of a downer - apparently she's unfamiliar with the concept of dining solo. However, my waitress was really great. Going on Sunday gets you the Sunday Dinner. For my ten (10) dollars I got to pick out of five or six different entrees for "Sunday dinner". I got soup or tomato juice, salad, two muffins and a small biscuit, creamed asparagus, baked potato, stuffing, and two pieces of fried chicken. I could have had mashed or sweet on the potato and any number of other veggies instead of the asparagus. Oh, and dessert. I chose the cherry pie, to go, being I was full, ten dollars worth.
Go during the week, sit at the counter, and have a sandwich. It's a neat old joint.
