From August 2004 through May 2008, I regularly stayed at Cabin in the Woods during visits to my daughter at Oberlin College. Peggy and Walt Pleban always provided marvelous hospitality. My most recent stay was in May 2008 for my daughter's graduation.
The May 2008 time was the best, because I rented the entire B & B for five days. My relatives converged on Cabin in the Woods for this event. Peggy prepared a graduation dinner for us. The entrees included vegetarian fare. Our stay at this rural getaway proved marvelous.
A log decor characterizes this handicapped-accessible and enviornmentally-friendly establishment. The Plebans completed much of the interior work themselves. They designed the place as a B & B with well appointed rooms. Each room has its own bath but no television.
This B & B is located about 17 miles from Oberlin College. You can reach downtown Cleveland in about an hour. Cedar Point amusement park lies about 30 minutes by car to the northwest.
The Plebans are diversifying their business. May God bless them both!
