We received what we expected from this Quality Inn. The staff (new owners?) were very friendly and did what they could to help us with any difficulties, but this property was just average for this brand. The keycard system for the doors was broken when we were there, so we weren't able to select a room to our liking because they only had working cards for a handful of rooms. The phone in the room did not work when we arrived, but the handset was courteously swapped by the desk staff. This facility is one building of what used to be a three building motel-style Holiday Inn complex. Each of the three buildings are now owned by different companies, with one of the others being a Super 8, and the third being an independent. We appeared to be one of only a handful of guests there, and the property was pretty quiet. The rooms had been newly remodeled and had a new, albeit very thin, mattress. We were travelling with our 19 lb. dog, which they accommodated with a fee of around ~$5/night, and which was billed in such a way that we didn't receive Choice Rewards points for that surcharge. The exterior of the property was tidy in some areas, and destroyed in others. There was an abandoned swimming pool, likely from when all three building were one complex, that had been filled with dirt and was a real eyesore. The hotel had a new pool for its guests, but we did not use it during our stay. The property adjoins a trailer park and is seperated from it with a barbed wire fence. The area seemed remote and fairly quiet, even though it wasn't far from OKC proper or Frontier Land. There is a Waffle House nearby, as well as a couple of truck stops that may have restaurants. We did not check out the continental breakfast, but they said they offered donuts and coffee in the morning. Overall, I have paid less per night for four-star properties at the internet bidding websites. I don't think I'd stay again, unless the price was under $30/night, and even then, I'd try for something else first. It's clean and certainly qualifies as a place to crash, but not much more.
