We splashed out on two nights in this nicely restored hotel, which we chose as a result of reviews on Tripadvisor and pictures etc on the hotel's own web site.
Arrived on Sunday to find the centre of Oklahoma City pretty dead (as it was on Monday and Tuesday too!).
The hotel is smart; we found the staff more than helpful and courteous and the room magnificent. Our only criticism was there we no hooks for the supplied dressing gowns or our coats and no shelves in the bathroom to put out your bathroom-type stuff. From our 11th(?) floor room we could keep an eye on our car in the car park immediately behind; don't bother with valet parking - it's so close anyway.
Oh, and the "pod" coffee machine was a complete and utter waste of space.
We did not eat in the hotel. The wonderful Bricktown is a short walk away (we felt perfectly safe) with its huge choice of restaurants and its must-take boat ride.
And we had a best-ever-value breakfast in a Chinese buffet hidden away under one of the nearby office-blocks. Do try and find it; unbelievable value.
We drove out to the Stockyards (don't bother) and the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum (absolutely fabulous) as well as the Oklahoma State Capitol (well worth a visit).
We very much enjoyed our stay here and will come back again some day.
