I received the Baymont for a bid of $40 on Priceline, altho I noticed other bidders had gotten this property for as low as $32!

This hotel is conveniently located directly off I-35 (exit 121A if you're going south) There weren't many other guests staying here, nor does there seem to be many restaurants nearby, but the front desk provided me with the phone numbers for pizza and chinese delivery.

The rooms have outside entrances, so if you get a room on the second floor you must drag all your stuff up a flight of stairs. It's a rather large property with plenty of rooms so chances are good you can get a ground floor room.

The rooms themselves are large enough, and look newly remodled (as of Sept '06). The furnishing look is hotel cheesy, but cheerful and bright and not yet shabby. High speed internet is available.

All in all, it's a good Priceline deal.

Considering the deal I got through PriceLine this was a heck of a deal... The hotel is under renovation right now. Front Desk is friendly and the continential breakfast is pretty good. Wireless internet did not work and according to LQ Tech support and the front desk, it's been down for the past 3 weeks. Pool is small but great for the little ones. It is cleaned daily before it opens at 9am.

Check in was very easy...friendly desk clerk. No mention of priceline.
Rooms are all outside entrance. Carpet was not great, bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean. Older hotel. Difficult and confusing access due to construction on hwy I35. Once construction is done...will be fine. Continential breakfast starts at 6am...waffles, muffins, toast cereal. Overall rating..very good.
