We had the absolute worse experience at this small lake resort. We were excited to take my family visiting from Sweden to enjoy the beauty of this lake in Oregon. We were expecting a rustic resort, but nothing prepared us for this.

Our reservation was for 5 nights and we ended up leaving after only 2 nights. The cabins were so filthy that they were uninhabitable. One of our cabins had a propane leak, so that it had to be turned off and we had no lights or stove at all. (We asked for it to be fixed but no one came to fix it). The windows were broken and mended with duct tape. The resort advertises showers, but the water had been turned off and there was no running water. The place was so dusty, and we weren’t allowed to swim in the lake, so we were just filthy after one day with no recourse to get clean. We tried to tough it out, but finally decided to pack up and leave. For our two families (one of which was my brother visiting from Sweden), both of our vacations were ruined.

After checking out, the manager told us to contact the owner for a refund. The owner refuses to talk to us. After leaving several messages, 5 emails, and about 50 unanswered phone calls, we have been left no recourse but to warn others about this dismal place and lack of customer service.
