We stopped overnight at this motel on our drive up to Cananda. We were too tired to travel another 45 miles north to stop in Bend, a larger city with more motel choices. We were not expecting much but had a wonderful surprise. It was purchased two weeks ago by new owners. The first thing they did was purchase all new mattresses. They were so comfortable-pillow top but firm. Best beds we had in our two weeks of vacation. Also,they plan to put in large screen TV's in the next few weeks. The owners were pleasant, the rooms were clean. All rooms had microwaves and refrigerators. Free newspapers were delivered in the morning. Great place to stop at-We highly recommend it.

One warning. In town there are two restaurants. We ate at the Mohawk. Terrible food and terrible decor; it includes a bar and the cigarette smoke pervades the entire area. There is one other restaurant in town and the owners of the motel told us it was much better. In looking at the menu the both the choices and prices seemed better.
