Really enjoyed Old Parkdale Inn. We stayed in the Gaugin Room, with extremely comfy bed and tiny porch that made you feel like you were in a tree house. The views of Mt. Hood from her front porch are awesome. Quiet little town in the orchard part of Oregon south of Hood River. There’s a microwave and little fridge in the room. The other 2 rooms have larger kitchen facilities but this was sufficient for our needs. She also has a laptop available in the dining area for use by the guests. That was a nice touch that I welcomed.

Mary is so hospitable! As is her wonderful dog, Tilly. Nice, filling breakfasts. Very helpful with directions, suggestions. Parking is no problem. You can use the church lot right next to the property. Enjoy! We’d stay there again.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Old Parkdale Inn while attending a friends wedding down the street. Mary and Tilly were great and so accomodating. Mary had delicious fondue ready for us shortly after arrival and the breakfast the next morning was amazing. We stayed in the O'Keefe suite, while our close friends stayed in the Gaugin room. Both rooms were great and very cozy. We will be back!

Thank you Mary for a great time!

We spent three nights in the Georgia O'Keeffe room. Very nice room with a great view. Wi-fi access. Good location for exploring -- however, Parkdale is a very small town. 1 restaurant! Very charming - about 25 minutes from Hood River. Good value for the $.

Excellent breakfasts, friendly owner with a great dog, beautiful area. Had a great time hiking on/around Mt. Hood!

We stayed four nights at the Old Parkdale Inn for our daughter's wedding at nearby Mt. Hood, and we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience. Mary and Tilly (her canine assistant) made us feel right at home -- the food was awesome and the accommodations very comfortable.

I loved the architecture of the old home, the beautiful gardens, and the views of Mt. Hood -- but Mary herself made it the most memorable. She was even gracious enough to help me with special preparations for the wedding.

We'll certainly be visiting the Old Parkdale Inn again in the near future.

The Old Parkdale Inn was perfect for me. It is nestled in a quiet rural town and has a great view of majestic Mt. Hood. Old Parkdale Inn is an elegant craftsman style home that has a rich history (ask Mary and Steve, the wonderfully informative hosts).

My room was the Gaughin Room, decorated in a bright, wonderful theme to commemorate the famous French impressionist painter. The bed is so comfortable I didn't want to leave it! A private deck gives the impression you are in a tree house overlooking the beautiful garden. Amenities in this room are great: private bath, fridge stocked with beverages, microwave, TV/DVD, many books, etc.

Feeling pet-deprived during your travels? Tilly, the inn's Swiss Mountain Dog, will take you for a walk.

I was toured through the other two rooms, also named after famous painters, Claude Monet and Georgia O'Keefe. They are beautiful suites with a full kitchen and sumptuous-looking beds.

Now, on to the breakfast! Seated at a great wooden table, I was served coffee, juice, home made jams, a scone and waffles so good they should be patented! It all looked almost too good to eat.

Although I was by myself this time, I would love to return here with my family. The Old Parkdale Inn is kid-friendly and pet-friendly and they are close to local hiking and ski areas. We could have a great family vacation here.
