This Embassy Suites is closest to the PDX Terminal and offer convenient shuttle service and access to the MAX Light Rail System. The hotel is a typical atrium/waterfalls type property offering clean and well appointed rooms, and very professional and personable staff. A special Thanks to Chris for assigning a great room for airplane and runway watching. Parking is free, and you can drive or walk to the nearby Cascades Station shopping complex for dining, shopping or access to the light rail system into Portland. A very convenient airport location.

Who eats potato chips with ranch dressing drizzled on them with their wine, beer or cocktail? Not a carrot or celery stick to be seen. Let's not forget to mention the obnoxious children who escaped their alcohol-fueled parents to scoop out grubby hands full of candy? Not up to Embassy and its "Business Class" clientele standards for a week night reception. It turned off many guests who left the hotel to dine in other locales and miss the very nice restaurant, food and service on property. Come on Embassy Suites Portland Airport....present a better reception to encourage your guests, who are paying $150+ a night rates to stay on your property. While we can respect and understand the need to cut costs, your reception should showcase your on-site dining option to keep business....and revenue flowing in-house.
High Floor. Either side of hotel offers view of the runways and airplanes but disturbing noise was...
