After a very bad experience at a nearby hotel, we called to see if a room was available so we could move. The person on the phone was very pleasant and helpful. When we arrived, the desk clerk gave us the keys to three rooms so we could make a choice, She was very welcoming and customer service oriented. The desk staff and the staff at breakfast were cheerful, accomodating and pleasant. We asked the desk clerks for a recommendation for lunch before we caught our flight and they sent us to Salty's on the river which was an excellent choice. If you want a resonable, comfortable hotel at the airport , I would certainly recommend this property.

I booked this for Hilton credits as it was the cheapest offering in the Portland area that night. What a mistake! The bedding was horrific and ill-fitting. I don't know where they got their mattress pads, but I could feel the icky texture of mine through the sheets. The fitted sheet kept comingn off during the night. My "suite" was odd in that there wasa a large empty space where a table should have been - I ended up having to leave my stuff in the "living room" area instead.

Stayed here b/c had 6 a.m. flight out the next day. Was solid hotel, for a lower budget chain. Check in was quick and efficient. Hotel room was solid, could NOT hear neighbors. Yes it is on the flight path but with the a/c going, I couldn't hear anything to be honest. more noise from the street in the front of the hotel, but again ... with the a/c going, heard NOTHING all night long. The 24-hour shuttle to airport was RIGHT there when i got down at 4;30 a.m., very prompt and efficient person doing that, appreciated that enormously. All in all, no complaints. Business center helpful, as I printed boarding passes there. I have no complaints and recommend it. National Car Rental is nearby and they shuttled me back to this hotel when I dropped off the car, very convenient!

Stayed here for proximity to the airport and the cost.

Room was new, clean and comfortable. Decor was tasteful.

Hotel is in the flight path and the room was occasionally very noisy.

Not much of a garden however - unless they meant the plastic bush in the room :-p.
