We stayed here for two nights to celebrate our anniversary, and it was just wonderful.
The proprietors are lovely people who really went out of their way to help us make the weekend special. They were friendly and talkative without being intrusive, gave us a coupon to a local candy shop, and accommodated every little need we had, even letting us borrow from their personal DVD collection.
Most importantly for us, the breakfast was amazing! When we checked in for the first night, the owner said, "We served bacon & eggs this morning, so I wanted to give people something different tomorrow. Will you be okay with baked French toast and ham?" As if she was really putting us out or something! The French toast was super yummy, and they offered us any type of drinks we wanted for the morning.
The room was simple but nice and private. At the price we got, a superbly good deal.
If the Custer House is still in operation when we go back to Seaside in a few years, we will absolutely be staying there again.
