This B&B is well-situated for enjoying Brandywine Valley (Longwood Gardens, Winterthur, etc.) and dining is just a few blocks away from this great old granite home on a quiet part of the main street of Kennett Square. We stayed in the spacious and comfortable Longwood Suite -- best night's sleep on our trip! -- and enjoyed a hearty breakfast the next morning. The Yetters are hospitable hosts and recommended some stops for us that were memorable. All around, a good choice for travelers in the area.

This was a wonderful find. Beds (and rooms) were extremely comfortable and the hosts, Jeff and Carol couldn't have been more helpful. A beautiful area to explore and fabulous restaurants just a short step away. We would definitely go back - even though we have to travel "across the pond" to get there.

My stay at the Kennett House was extraordinary. Jeff and Carol went out of their way to make sure that every need was met. The food, the room, the atmosphere, their attitude and enthusiasm was all better than expected and made a lasting impression. The rates were more than fair and affordable. I highly reccommend this establishment to anyone spending some time in the Bradywine Valley who wishes for extra comforts and wonderful food to enhance their experience. Anyone can stay at a hotel, but how often has a generic hotel added to the vacation? The Kennett House will guarantee that your experience doesn't began when you leave the hotel and end when you come back to rest. I can't wait to book my next stay and see what else the Brandywine Valley has to offer!

We spent two weeks touring around Pennsylvania, and our stay at the Kennett House was one of our best experiences. The accomodations were lovely, and the amenities made us feel pampered. In fact, it became a benchmark for other stays: "If they only had coffee available like the Kennett House..." "If they only offered Internet access like the Kennett House..."

Although the room was beautiful and the breakfasts incredibly delicious, it was the personal touch that Jeff and Carol bring to their innkeeping that really sets the Kennett House apart. They have mastered the exact balance of being helpful and available without being intrusive.

They were a wealth of information. They helped us decide on restaurants, scenic routes, day activities, and multiple other items to make our stay in the Brandywine special. They answered our endless questions about fox hunts and the mushroom industry and local history. They even gave us tips on trips we might like to take outside the U.S.

We have already recommended the Kennett House to many of our friends and will continue to do so.
