We stayed in the Fulton Steamboat Inn for four nights in July in order to visit Dutch Wonderland with our 7 and 3 year old. We loved it here! The staff is friendly, the rooms clean, the beds comfortable, the hotel is solidly built so the rooms are quiet, the playground is lots of fun, and our kids loved the pool.
The only real problem was that the room was damp - really, really damp. The building is surrounded by water, and this has affected the humidity in the ground floor rooms (we were in one). The staff put a de-humidifier in our room before our arrival, but even with the a/c running constantly, we had to empty the water out of that three times per 24 hour period. Because my husband and daughter have asthma, this was a real problem; they both reacted by developing coughs.
So we'll be back, but will ask for a second floor room next time!
