We were looking for an interesting brewery/lunch experience in the Amish country of Lancaster, PA and found a real gem. The downtown Lancaster location offers off street parking behind the restaurant, which was a great way to start the visit.
The restaurant is sleek in design, not at all reflective of homey Amish environments that are available in the area. Food was very good. The Lejon pizza is a clever mix of favors. The beet and goat cheese salad is beautifully plated and quite tasty.
Beers were good. A seasonal beer is always available. We enjoyed the raspberry ale.
Service was fine. Food was served at a leisurely pace that allowed us to enjoy the flight of beer. At $35/ couple it was not an inexpensive lunch, but it was a relaxing experience with good food and interesting beer. We will return on the next trip to the area.
