At the last minute our plans fell through for our anniversary so I though a 2-night stay in a cabin with a hot tub would be romantic. Boy was I wrong! First, I missed the part on the website that said "Bring your own linens and towels" that, I could live with, if that were the only faux pa. So I got on my laptop, because they said they had WiFi, to find the nearest place to buy some sheets. Well, that required a password. I tried to call to find out the password, no cell service. I found out the next day that you have to pay for WiFi access. Okay, since it was late evening when we discovered this little hiccup, we decided to deal with it in the morning and watch a little TV. We do not have satellite TV and navigating the remote without instructions (25 minutes of my life I'll never get back) was very frustrating. NO movie channels and tons of infomercials. This night keeps getting better. Off to bed we go, fully clothed, with t-shirts over the pillows and a small utility blanket from the car as to avoid a $25 up-charge for the use of their blankets. We climb into the bed of this $160 + a night romantic cabin and the bed bows in the middle. Worst night of sleep EVER! NO wonder the place is non-refundable. On a side-note, to add insult to injury, after about 3 minutes in the shower the next morning, the hot water ran out. I know it was about three minutes because I hadn't shaved or even rinsed the conditioner out of my hair. I would not recommend this place for a romantic getaway to anyone!
