Deadeye Dick's is one of only a few places to dine in the New Harbor area, where most boaters dock or moor their boats. There's a nice al fresco deck with a lovely view of the harbor and a plain-Jane interior dining room. Plenty of surf and turf choices to satisfy everyone. We've eaten here several times in the past few years, and always have had a good experience. This year, we split a wedge salad, and I had the hot lobster roll and my husband had a scallops dish. The hot lobster roll seems to be all the rage on the island this year, and it was delicious with big chunks of lobster (ask them to go light on the butter). It was (I think) about $14.99 which was not much more than some of the take-out places were charging for the same thing. Good food, reasonable prices, and some interesting choices. Our waitress said she comes in on her day off to have the lobster BLT -- have to try that next time!
