I enjoyed a lot my wonderful recent stay at the Old Point Inn. I stayed in several other B&B's in this lovely town previously but I need to say that this is the best I have ever stayed. Everyone should live such a great experience at this inn where all rooms are decorated with very special and tasty pieces from all over the world which made me a little homesick. I strongly recommend a stay at the Old Point Inn with a great atmosphere and everything. Believe me you will not regret but will thank me.

We stayed at the Old Point Inn for a long weekend. The location cannot be beat. The hospitality is great at the inn and in the town. The breakfast is fabulous. Our room was wonderful. The Old Point Inn is not as well known as some of the other bed and breakfasts in this town....its a hidden gem! It could not have been a better experience.

My first trip to Beaufort was for a friends wedding. Found this charming inn on the web and the virtual tour was right on target. My date and I stayed in the Old World Room which is tastefully decorated, has access to a huge porch and a beautiful view of the river. After the wedding reception we took champagne out to the hammock on the porch and gently rocked the night away while listening to the rain on the roof. I lost my heart to a wonderful man that night. This is a delightful place to stay. I will always cherish the memories.

This seems to be a bit of a hidden gem in Beaufort. The Old Point Inn is slightly off of the main drag, but in easy walking distance of downtown and the sites. Being off of the main drag was a benefit to us. You can see the river from the porch, there is virtually no traffic going past the house and you can rest comfortably in your room, or on the two porches--hammock, lounge and rocking chairs.
The rooms were great. Large, comfortable, very clean. We had a steam room option in our bathroom that was not listed in the ad. The owners are very friendly. If you are looking for a relatively small B and B--compared to others in Beaufort, this is the place to go.
Based on their recommendation, we played golf at the South Carolina National course on Cat Island. This course is absolutely gorgeous.
Great time in Beaufort. We would definitely visit this Inn again.
