This place was not worth price I was quoted. Which by the way, I got from this website. When we checked in, we were told that our quote was incorrect and that we would have to pay accordingly. My fiance argued with clerk, who told him to take it up with manager. The manager was never around. We stayed two night and was disappointed with both the room, pool and service. Our room was falling apart. The bathroom towl rack was falling out of the wall and the beds were not sturdy. The pool was disgusting and the next door guests at another hotel used the pool at this hotel. One of the other hotel's guest was drinking and smoking inside the pool while my son was trying to play. When we checked out, again we were told this website gave the wrong quote and that the manager was not available so we were stuck paying a bill that was twice the original quote. I will never stay at this hotel ever again.

This is not the nicest place in town, in fact it was very no frills. It is priced very affordable but it should be because of the lack of amneties offered. I will be fair and say the room was clean and the staff was somewhat friendly. I was a bit surprised when I asked for a pillow and was told there are no extra pillows!

Stayed here for 3 nights from May 30,2004.Fundamentally room was OK but state of car park, walkways and pool area (indoor) left much to be desired-cigarette butts litter the car park and planted areas between bedroom blocks,spillages on walkways have never been washed away leaving staining,and dirty poolside furniture gives doubt about the hygine practices in the facility.The room had recently been redecorated and was fresh with good furnishings but had the same 2 picture on ajoining walls.In completing the refurbishment the inside of the bathroom door had not been repainted while new tiles in bathroom had not been fitted behind toilet and door.Areas in room that were difficult for cleaning staff to reach(e.g.top of clothes rails) were covered in dust.All of this points to inadequate management and supervision of facility and an inability to view the facility thru the eyes of paying guests.In addition ,the facility must attract people with heavy vehicles during business week-lots of noise from early daybreak including emptying of skips.Breakfast was adequate.Will stay somewhere else if I visit Beaufort again.
