We stayed at the Fairfield this past week- 3-9 to 3-14-07. We had stayed hee last March while visiting friends living in Sun City, SC.

The staff was very accomadating. The hotel is fairly well maintained. I did notice some stain and wear marks on the carpet in our room and in the elevator and hallways but it wasn't dirty just stained.

The continental breakfast included a waffle maker, fresh fruit, instant oatmeal, cold cereal, juice, toast, muffins, donuts and microwaveable egg sandwiches. Nothing special- but enough variety to make most people happy.

The price was right as well. The bed was very comfortable and there is free high speed wireless internet in the rooms- along with a computer and printer in the lobby.

It's not a 4 star hotel but it is a very nice place to stay for a few days.

Our room was extremely clean, and fresh-smelling. The bed was dreamy-- I've never slept in such a soft and cozy bed before. In fact, we're going to call the hotel and ask what mattress they use, so that we can buy it for our home. The breakfast was also very nice- the waffles were delicious and they had a variety of other things to choose from, including jimmy dean biscuits. The coffee was also excellent.

The hotel is located in a secluded area. It is a little difficult to find the entrance; you just have to keep your eyes open. We liked the location to come back and relax to after a day at the beach.

We definitely would go back.

The hotel was wonderful. The breakfast had a good variety of food, even fresh grits. The night clerk was extremely nice. I called to see if there was a vending machine to get a bottle of water. Within 2 minutes he came up to our room to give us 2 bottles of water. That was extrememly nice of him. You rarely get clerks who are that willing to help the guests. The rooms were very clean. The maids must spend alot of time cleaning each room. I definetly recommend this hotel if you are heading towards Hilton Head Island!

Would highly reccommend this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Everywhere I went in the hotel was clean. The breakfast buffet had many choices. The hotel has a pool, workout room, laundry, free breakfast buffet, and golf nearby. We stayed in this hotel 2 nights before going on to Hilton Head for a week.
