I had an excellent experience while staying at this location for 5 nights. The hotel is well maintained and the room was very clean. I loved that it had a microwave and fridge in the room. Check-in was a breeze and the desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. They have information already prepared and printed at the front desk telling you about the restaurants in the area and also directions to the restaurants, which comes in handy. I would definitely stay here again while in the area.

My wife and I stayed here for one night on our way to the beach. The front desk had messed up our reservation which led to mass confusion even though there could have been a simple solution. The manager was called (he was in an office a few feet away) and I was forced to talk to him by phone since he would not come out to speak with me face to face. He talked down to me the entire time and suggested that I was trying to scam the hotel and further saying the screw up was our fault. It's been a long time since I've been this offended. My wife and I were going to find another hotel, but every other place was booked. Once the problem was worked out, we went to our room after a long day of driving. There were wet towels on the floor when we walked in and a wet wash cloth hanging up on the shower curtain bar. There was mildew in the bath tub and it appeared as if the carpets were last vacumed a few weeks ago. The lobby and the first floor smells of cigarette smoke. My wife slipped in the elevator because the floor was wet for no reason and there was not a warning sign. I could've gotten over most of the faults, however, the way I was treated a check-in was absolutely incredible. I will never stay at this hotel or any other Holiday Inn Express EVER again. This was a very nice, clean property. Our room was practically spotless, and the public areas still looked very new and clean. Breakfast bar was excellent with lots of choices - cereal, toast, danish, muffins, fruit, and more!. Highly recommended!
