We stayed two nights at the Indigo Inn a couple of weeks ago (March) and absolutely loved it! The staff is fantastic, particularly two of the gentleman who operate the front desk. Each went out of his way to help us with questions we had (finding a laudromat, how long it would take to drive somewhere) and items we needed to borrow; for instance, we needed to ship something, and the gentleman helped us package our item.
We're not drinkers, so we did not participate in the wine and cheese that is available in the lobby each evening, but they definitely put out a nice looking spread. We did take advantage of their having beverages available at all hours though. You just walk up and pour yourself a cup of coffee, lemonade, or iced tea. What a nice touch!
Our room was very spacious. We had a nice seating/lounging area with a sofa, chair, and coffee table. The bathroom is separated from the living space by french doors, which made it very easy to get ready while my husband was still sleeping.
We loved Charleston so much that we anticipate returning some day, and I know we'll stay at Indigo Inn again.
