My grandson and I spent a night at the Hilton on June 27. Beautiful grounds and excellent beach location. We had a studio suite with two double beds. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. It was larger than a standard room with a very nice balcony area. The room decor was nice and it was very clean. My grandson enjoyed the playground area. I would give the resort an excellent rating except for the following: Being an interior corridor hotel, you can hear every door open/close and people talking at all hours out in the corridor. There is a 6.00 parking fee per car, haven't figured out why since you can't park right outside your room. The TV service offers about 10 channels, the rest you have to pay for. The restaurants seemed nice, but in my opinon, are very over priced, although on Hilton Head you'll pay more for just about any restaurant. Room service was out of the question for me, just because I wouldn't pay those prices anywhere. The regular rate for my room at this time of year is about 209.00 per night. I received a rate lower than that after a little research. Although the room and location was nice, I wouldn't pay 209.00 per night at any time of the year. The resort is very nice and would probably be a good place to stay in the off season (when all the kids are back in school and the noise level is down). To sum it up, I would go back for a reasonable rate and when there wasn't so much activity up and down the hallways. On a better note, the front desk and housekeeping staff were very personable and friendly and the service was very good.

We've been to HH many times. First time we stayed at a hotel on the ocean. Great hotel for the money. Loved the room, bed, ocean view, pool (there's an adult one), bar on the ocean, etc. In exclusive Palmetto Dunes area of island! Fantastic nearby golf at Fazio or Trent Jones courses. Concierge was very helpful in arranging golf lesson and tee time at Trent Jones. Ample parking. We are hard pressed to find something we didn't like - there was a somewhat cheesy band that played each day for two hours by the pool. Very close to plenty of restaurants at Shelter Cove (can highly recommend Kingfisher and San Miguels). The sunset cruise out of Shelter Cove is excellent. Definite 5 star recommendation.

My Husband and I have stayed at this Hilton for the past two years over the Labor Day Holiday and have just booked again for this year. It is a beautiful property indicative of the natural setting of the entire Island. The staff were courteous and helpful and the ammenities are great for families.
The rooms are well appointed and the kitchens are a great bonus. We will definately continue to visit this Hilton until we are able to buy property on the Island.

This hotel is truly a credit to all Hilton's worldwide. Myself and my family recently stayed for a two week period whilst by husband attend business conferences within the resort. It was a refreshing change to meet staff that all had a positive attitude and were willing to help 24/7. The Bellmen were particularly helpful when taking my luggage to the room and escorting us around the Palmetto Dunes Plantation. The front desk were friendly and accommodationg and the entertainment was of an excellent standard. My children loved the pool area and in particular the poolside entertainment. Dining was never a problem as there were adequate childrens options for breakfast, dinner and lunch. This resort is awesome it is one of the cleanest, most professional and well managed resorts I have been to.
