The first problem we experienced was inconsistency. We went with some friends and we paid the same for two different rooms, however; they were not of the same value. The rooms were totally different. One room had the buckbeds madeup with covers and everything, but the other one didn't even have covers on the buckbeds. The same room also had a wall that was a big mirror and the other way had only a mirror in the bathroom. Again the same room had a table outside on the balcony, but the other one did not. Once again, the same room contained a big trashcan in the kitchen area while the other room had no trashcan in the kitchen area; no big trashcan at all in the whole room.
Another inicident that was inconvient, was the fact that when we asked for more towels, they told us we have to wash them ourselves and we had to do that before we left anyways. So, if you don't want to clean up and wash your clothes like you are at home, then this is not the place for you. If you want to continue to slave around the house and wash your towels, then this is just the place for you.
Also, I didn't like when we were locked out of the pool just because a storm had passed. I saw no lightening what so ever and the pool was locked because they wait two hours after the last lightening strike. The sun came out and we could not swim with our own common sense. I understand not letting children do it because they may not know any better, but I am a full grown adult and I should get to decided if I want to swim after or during a storm. There was no one at the pool to tell us why it was closed and so I called security. I asked the security if they could give me a call in the hotel room and let us know when they opened the pool, but she said no. "Ma'am we are too busy to do that, we have too many cars coming in today! We don't have time for that!"
There are also too many rules as well. They have so many odd rules, that there is a list handed out. They even make you pay a thirty dollar fee if you lock yourself out of your room, which is not on the "list". They have to harass people everytime they enter the pool and ask for his/her last name and room number everytime people entered. In one hour we were asked our name three times, that was so aggervating. There is a size limit on coolers brought into the pool area.
A good thing is it is very close to the beach and pool. The pool is right beside the beach and that is cool. There is also a volleyball net that is real close to the pool on the beach area. It also has a nice view if you have the beach side room. It is a place to get away for the weekend.
