Stayed here for two nights while on Hilton Head for a wedding. The rate we got was about $114 a night which I felt was a pretty good deal. We had a King room, on the first floor. The room was nice, but nothing outstanding, the bed took up most of the room. No couch or comfy chair either. This hotel only has two floors, so if you want a high floor, you ain't getting above #2. The hotel was very easy to find off of 278, and it is very close to several grocery stores and restaurants. The hotel is also very close to the Hilton Head Airport, but to save money, we flew into Savannah, which is alot cheaper and only about 40 minutes away, consider this option and stop in Savannah for a night too, it's a great city. The free wireless internet worked fine, you need the access code though, which should be put in your room key envelope. I was a little disappointed with breakfast. I know it is free and all, but I was hoping for something other than eggs and sausage patties, seemed kinda bland. They had the usual stuff too; bagels, cereal, muffins and fruit, but I was hoping for some gravy biscuits that I have trouble finding in NJ. The pool looked nice, but as usual, I never got a chance to use it. If you are looking for a beach hotel, this isn't it. If you are going there with the family for a weekend on the beach, you might be better off finding something closer to the water. I know many people hear "Hilton Head Island" and think beach, but it is actually a fairly congested place with alot of development going on. I bet 20 years ago it must have been great, now it seems to be alot of wal-mart, mc donalds and gated communities.
