My wife and I stayed at Park Lane from May 9-12 to celebrate our 1st anniversary. It was our first visit to HHI, and this place seemed reasonably priced, had decent reviews, good location, etc. The check-in was okay. I requested a quiet room with a nice view, but we ended up with a room that was close to the exit and it faced the parking lot. I assume the rooms were full? It was obvious they were doing some renovations to the property, which we really didnt pay much mind to and it didnt bother us. The room wasnt anything flashy, but it served its purpose. It was nice to have a large fridge, oven, and a good amount of space to work with. The bed was old, bathroom was tight, the carpet was stained, and the room seemed a bit outdated. The pool and hot tub were used on a daily basis. We really enjoyed sitting by the pool, catching sun, listening to music, then going into the hot tub after dinner. Just a reminder, a timeshare rep. will call and ask you to 90 minute presentation, in exchange you get $90 and a stay at some hotel in the future. As with any timeshare sales pitch, it can be very high pressure, confusing, and they'll try to go over the 90 minutes. Please do research before going to one of these, as they will take advantage of naive travelers. The only reason we did it was because severe storms came through the area, so we didnt have much to do that morning. Anyway, the free breakfast was a treat, as was the daily shuttle to/from the beach. The shuttle runs on an hourly basis. The location made it really easy to get anywhere on the island in 10 minutes or so. The Park Lane is great if you dont mind an older, economical hotel that has a pool/hot tub, free breakfast, bike rentals, and shuttle to the beach. We would recommend this place to anybody!!
