My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton Charleston Airport,North Charleston for four days in May,and were a little wary as I had read some Trip Advisor reviews which were less than favourable, but as the hotels in downtown Charleston are very expensive,we decided to give it a go.The lobby area is very nice, and has a business centre there with about six pc's for customer use.The pool area is also very nice, with indoor and outdoor areas. The rooms and the hallways however are in need of a makeover,as they are worn looking, and would need to be renovated if they want the advertise the hotel as four star.Breakfast was only O.K.,but the bar food was good,as was the bar itself.I found the staff to be friendly and helpful.Although the hotel is in North Charleston,it is only yards from the highway, and it is only a short drive to downtown, and the likes of the Fort Sumter Ferry or the USS Yorktown.(Well worth a trip). Also the Tanger Outlets are very close. Finally, for the price it was fine, but would have been less so had the price been higher.
