I disliked the hotel. When we first arrived we had to call the owner on his cell because he was out getting cigarettes. The website said it was on the beach, which it wasn't. The rooms smelled bad, the beds were small, the shower leaked and the temperture would rise and fall very rapidly. At 10 pm the seniors were out at the bar blasting their music while my family tried to watch a movie. They were extremley over priced and I will never stay here again.

We stayed here a few weeks ago for 3 days. I was extremely happy to find someone who allowed pets! They take your cell phone number in case your pet gets loud while you're gone, so they can call you. But it didn't seem like they called our neighbors when they're dog barked constantly for an hour. Be aware that these rooms are extremely small. They are literally big enough for they bed and the TV. The shower was probably the worst shower I've ever used. No water pressure at all and the temperature goes from freezing to burning you in 2 seconds without you even changing the temp! The Tiki Bar was cute and they had karaoke out there which was fun. The pool is nice, but pretty small. Overall, it was a good trip.. we were just glad that there are places out there that allow dogs. It is worth the money you pay, but definately not any more than that!

We just vacationed at the Edge Water Inn and were very satisfied. The management and staff are all very nice people, the rooms are very clean, as are the grounds. The pool is the best I have seen at the beach, and the manager informed us, that they are about to add a Tiki bar. The rates are very reasonable, and the inn is located in a very nice area. Our family stayed there for a week in mid-July,
The rooms are nice and clean, very close to the beach and all the nearby attractions. The staff was great. The pool was one of the most nicest pools I have seen at the beach in a long time.
To be honest I was a little scared to book because of the price being so low, and I thought that it wouldn't be nice.. but I was wrong. For a family going to the beach on a budget it was wonderful, would go back again and again. There is not to many of these types of places left in Myrtle(Low-rise Mom and Pop), everybody is going to the high-rise condos. I hope this one stays around for a long time!
