The person who wrote the review below mine titled "Small Parking Spaces" must by the type of person who is never satisfied with anything and nitpicks just for the hell of it. The Seaside provided our group with the best Myrtle Beach golf vacation in all of the years we have been going to Myrtle Beach. The rooms, and the property as a whole, were immaculate. A big flatscreen TV in the living room and smaller flatscreens in every bedroom was a nice feature. The oceanview rooms were pretty much oceanfront views. The deluxe continental breakfast was more than adequate. The non-smoking policy is strict which is fine with me as I don't smoke. Check-in and check-out went smooth. I really can't say a bad thing about the Seaside. It's location is great - North Myrtle Beach is a lot nicer compared to being right in Myrtle Beach. We paid $280 per person for 4 nights and 5 rounds of golf with carts - the best deal on the Beach and the courses were great. No doubt I will be back - not only with my golf group but with my wife and 2 kids as well. Oh yeah, parking is fine as long as you go slow and pay attention to what you're doing.

we had originally reserved an ocean view one bedroom with a dvd player in the room. when we arrived the hotel had upgraded us to a two bedroom with no dvd player. after calling the desk they sent up the maintainence guy with the player and wanted to charge a $100 deposit on the player when some rooms have them already in them. they wanted my husband to bring it back to the desk when we were checking out. the picture on the tv was not the best in the world either. the parking spaces were too small and very hard to get into the spaces. if you have a nice car you dont want to try to get in the spaces. the spa in the bathroom wouldnt work. overall the best thing about this hotel was the breakfast lady. will not stay there again.

My sister, my nephew and I just returned today from a four night stay at Seaside, and we loved it. We arrived around 10:30 PM on Friday evening and were greeted by a smiling and friendly staff at the lobby desk (very hard to find that late in the evening - anywhere). When we got to our 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit, we couldn't have been more pleased. The unit was exceptionally clean and spacious. The kitchen was nicely equipped, the bedrooms were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were immaculate. The cleaning staff kept us all supplied with an abundance of fresh towels (very appreciated by all). The view from both the balcony and the floor to ceiling windows in the sitting area of unit # 1106 was awesome (who needs a TV with that view). We only had one minor issue (some of the light bulbs were out in two of the bathrooms) and as quickly as we informed the front desk, the maintenance crew replaced them. I have been visiting the Myrtle Beach area for a number of years and this was by far one of the very best experiences I have had there. We are already planning our next beach getaway, and we will be staying at Seaside again.

The rooms are very nice, and the location is wonderful. Unfortunately, the service provided by management was horrible. When we arrived they told us that two of the three pools were going to be cleaned. I was upset because this was not listed on their website. I was assured upon check-in that they would be available within one day. Neither were available for the duration of our stay. My two kids were extremely dissapointed, and management didn't care. Their free breakfast is below average as well. If you like 20 different kinds of bread, you will be happy.
