My best friend from college, her mom and cousin and I all met at the Butterfly Meadows Inn and Farm for a girls' trip to experience Nashville and the precious south. We all were coming off of dealing with an incredibly rocky year with family members' health issues and later passing, so we were all ready for a place to sit back and relax (and experience Nashville). Butterfly Meadows Inn is EXACTLY what we were wishing it would be and then some. The first night, we didn't end up getting there until late at night, about 10:30. The property manager, Heather, is wonderful. She was there waiting for us when we arrived, helped to move our bags downstairs, and even had the beds turned down with bottles of water and cookies for us. Exactly what we needed after a long day of traveling.
Breakfast was amazing. They try to incorporate as much from their garden as possible. From their nice dishes and table setting to offering 3 different juices and two types of coffee, this place thinks of everything, and that theme continues through your entire experience. They keep your breakfast warm if they notice you're not there right on time. They offer advice on what to do and where to go. The property is stunning. It is only 2 years old, but you feel like you're "at home on the farm", both in its decorations, ambiance, and charm. Their landscaping and grounds are beautiful, and exactly what you need to "get away from it all". Most definitely a place to come to recharge your batteries.
The staff is wonderful. Heather manages the property and is the chef. The owners are great people too. He helped us bring up all of our bags and loaded them into the car, and even let me know that he thought my bag was too heavy for the airplane (50 lbs), and so I rearranged things. So much better than having to do it in the airport. My bag ended up weighing 49.5 lbs, so he was right! It's all of the little things on top of the plush beds, nice bathrooms and beautiful grounds this place has to offer that makes it well worth every penny. I cannot recommend this place enough and we will be going back next summer, for sure!
We stayed in the downstairs bedroom, and is perfect for four people. You're the only ones down t...
