“Fantastic. Happy kids and happy adults.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2010

Think probably the best place we've stayed with kids. Went with 4 other families and we all had a great time. Lovely setting. - sitting on the balcony in the evening - kids asleep, beautiful view and nice glass of wine. Comftable, well equipped cottages and fantastic grounds. Owners helpful and friendly without being intrusive. All the kids loved the pond and row boats. Also playground, trampoline, skitlles etc and lots of open space to play. Kids outside all day and loved it. My 3 year old wants to live there!

“Best holiday choice ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 June 2010

Wonderful place to stay especially with young children. Lovely views. Beautiful cottages. Good location for exploring the west of Dorset. On the other hand Rudge farm was so nice and peaceful you don't need to leave the place to have a wonderful holiday. Will definitely come back!

“A hide-away, only tell your best friends about Rudge Farm!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 May 2010

My fourth time at Rudge Farm and I feel I have arrived home when I get there. Its perfect for every one from my generation (a Granny) to small children. Last year I took my teen age grandchildren and they loved it. Comfortable cottages, very well heated in cold weather, lots of hot water, well equipped kitchen and sitting room, comfortable beds, peaceful location, plenty of things for children to do from a sandpit and playground, tennis court, fenced off lake; ducks and even speckled chickens who come to visit you. There are beautiful views and the sea a short drive away. Make sure you visit the wonderful Sub-Tropical gardens and the historic Swannery at Abbotsbury. There's a super fish shop, which only seems to close on Christmas Day, at West Bay, and great pubs in nearby villages.
