I arranged a night's stay after seeing the other reviews and was not disappointed. Beautiful house with superb views of the hills. Lianna was very helpful in the run up to the stay as I'd booked in for dinner to the PEAT INN for my partner's birthday. Amazingly we returned from a great meal to find a card and a bouquet of flowers fresh from the beautiful gardens. Highly recommend this B&B, the meal at the Peat Inn was excellent too.

My husband and I arrived at our accommodation on the recommendation of a local taxi driver. We were not disappointed, the house is beautiful, the rooms were stunning and the family were so welcoming. We were made to feel like family friends, although our privacy was respected, and Liana (the hostess) attended to everything wonderfully. The fact that there are only two rooms which are let for B&B made it very comfortable and we had exclusive use of the pretty lounge area as the other guests were at a wedding. We met the other guests at breakfast time and they too were very happy with their room and breakfast.

  • Liked — Fantastic welcome, great room and the view.
  • Disliked — The fact we arrived early evening and didn't spend enough time there.
  • Any tips/secrets for future travellers? — Book in advance, we wanted a second night but there were no vacancies.

We stayed at Wester Dura with our two children - they didn't want to leave. Very friendly family with great care taken to make us feel at home. Would recommend to anyone, children or not.
