We had the pleasure of staying with Debbie and Ian for Dinner, B&B on the way to the North of Scotland in early April.
Everything was remarkably friendly from the very beginning - Debbie was very friendly and helpful via email during making the booking.
On arrival we were greeted like if we had been visiting old friends and made welcome immediately. We were the only ones for Dinner that evening and thus had the pleasure of Ian just cooking for us. The meal was excellent (and big!), so dinner is something you should not pass on if you are staying at the Ewich! Just make sure you leave space for the great breakfast to follow the next morning!
The rooms are lovely decorated in a fresh and modern style and there is a lot of attention to detail everywhere - in the info folder, the bathroom accessories, etc
Definitely the best B&B I ever stayed at and all down to Debbie's and Ian's warmth, hospitality and dedication. We'll definitely come back!

Our family has stayed in numerous B&Bs and guest houses in Scotland over the past 16 years, and Ewich House stands out as one of the very best. When I phoned to book, they were completely welcoming - unfazed by some of us being vegetarian, happy to put up a folding bed for my daughter. When we arrived on a very cold and snowy evening, we felt we had truly come to a home-away-from-home. Our room was cosy: beautifully and simply decorated and with really good quality towels and sheets. The entire house has a very peaceful and appealing atmosphere.
When we went out for a walk before dinner we were stunned by the beautiful view of the mountains, as well as by the beauty of Ewich House itself. Dinner was superb - cottage pie (meat and vegetarian versions), perfect vegetables and a memorable sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Breakfast was equally delicious. Several of the other guests had booked in for a weekend of walking, and although we were on our way West to see friends, we were sorry to leave the next morning. We paid no more for our stay than at other B&Bs, but the value for money is excellent. We were away travelling for two weeks, but our 10-year-old daughter is still asking when we can go back to Ewich House!

I stayed at Ewich overnight on a trip down the west coast of Scotland, and my only regret is that I did not stay with Ian and Debbie longer. Everything at Ewich was remarkably comfortable, welcoming, and warm (which I particularly appreciated given the snowy spring weather). I was lucky enough to have eaten both dinner and breakfast there, and the food was fantastic and plentiful. I highly recommend this B&B!

We stayed at this B&B while on the West Highland Way. The owners welcome you into their home and are attentive to your comfort. The style of the house is modern rustic but with an emphasis on quality and everything has been finished to a very high standard. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable and there is a large guest lounge with Sky tv, books, games and CDs. Outside are extensive grounds for gentle strolling.
As the house is halfway between Crianlarich and Tyndrum the owners will provide an evening meal given enough notice. There is no choice but it is great home cooking. We had a hearty home made soup, a fish pie and apple pie with custard but the following night guests were getting a beef stew and later possibly pheasant. They also have a alcohol licence and there is a good selection of wine. Oh, and the breakfast was the best "Scottish" I had this trip.
The owners are lovely people who take a great pride in their endeavours and rightly so because they've done marvels.
