This bed and breakfast was the last of many b&b's we visited during our vacation in Scotland, in the last three weeks of september. My husband and I wanted to visit Wigtown for the many bookshops in "Scotland's National Booktown". We ended up staying two nights instead of just one, and wished we could have stayed longer. The owners, Barbara and David made us feel really welcome, and immediately showered us with information about the local sights and attractions. The bedroom was very bright and roomy, had two extra long single beds en was immaculately cleaned. Also we could use a private guestlounge, great for reading our new books. The breakfasts were cooked to perfection and lots to choose from, local produce also. All in all, absolutely the best B&B we stayed in during this vacation! Gorgeous room, fantastic hosts with good local knowledge, in an often overlooked but lovely part of Scotland.
