We stayed here in this B&B for two nights in Nov 2007.
The building dates back to the 1670's and the rooms are large. We stayed in the 'Sanderson' room which has an ensuite shower room and was equipped with a large comfortable bed, two very comfortable easy chairs, TV & DVD and Tea/Coffee making facilities along with some complimentary biscuits and bottled water.
Mavis and David were our hosts and made us very welcome when we arrived. David took our luggage up to our room and brought it down again when we left. We felt that this was a nice touch especially as the main staircase, though very interesting, is steep and winding.
Breakfast, a generous Full English was taken in the dining room; a large room with an attractive inglenook fireplace.
Though the village has a pub we were not very taken with it but we did take up a recommendation from Mavis to eat at the (very busy) 'Glasfryn' pub in Mold which we did on both nights as there was a wide selection on the menu.
