I booked this one thru Smooth Hound.

I found this older, refurbished place an excellent base for my exploration of Wales. It was a couple of blocks from the main bus terminals and about four blocks to the train station. Cabs and city bus stops were about 50 yards from the front door. Lots of good eating places nearby, except for Wimpy's( nasty cardboard burgers) . Tons of shopping immediately north to the ciity centre. The back of the property borders on the Cleddau river. The hotel courtyard is a nice place to sit and relax.

I need to rave about the food here!! It was never less than excellent, I was flabbergated at actually receiving piping hot food at my table. The chefs here are fabulous. The typical English Breakfast was always more than filling and top quality. Service is Sterling.

My room was well furnished and very clean. I found nothing to gripe about here. The bath was newy refurbished and the glass walk-in shower was totally right for me.

The staff here are all totally friendly and professional.

Like I say, I could find nothing to gripe about in my week's stay here.
