This hotel would be ok should the price be significantly less, however it isn't... I'm a Platinum Elite member, travelling the world and staying in Intercontinental's week after week I can honestly say this is the worst I've stayed in. Without dwelling too much on any one point... reception area is very 'swish' but unfortunately it stops there. The hotel and rooms are very dark and dingy, air con is very noisy and not particularly effective, bathroom was very dark and grey, carpets stained, coffee facilities are provided BUT milk is strictly for breakfast only... powdered creamer is all you can get. There are many notices regarding safety and using the additional door locks on rooms BUt again mine was already smashed off having been forced and twisted some time previously. Overall the staff have been consistently unhelpful, offering no solutions, apologies or smiles. The hotel was also very noisy (from air con, shower fan and other guests above, below and beside). Very disappointing, not recommended!
