The Hilton is a beautiful "all suites" hotel in the heart of downtown Nashville. Lobby boasts an atrium view that extends the entire height of the building, glass elevators and a grand double staircase leading to the mezzanine level.
The open atrium feature may result in lobby noise bleeding into some guest rooms; especially when live music is being offered.
Rooms are well appointed with many amenities to include comfortable beds, sleep sofa, fridge, microwave and two televisions.
Small workout room with pool and a business center with free internet are located on lobby level near the front desk.
Hotel staff is friendly, courteous and professional. Very good quality food with affordable room service.
All rooms have impressive views of either the downtown area, the riverfront or the Country Music Hall of Fame.
One block away from the hotel is the famous Broadway which is home to many well known live music venues, restaurants, shops and bars. Newly constructed Walk of Fame is immediately across from front entrance to hotel and the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, home to Nashville Symphony, is just across the street. Several large churches of varying denominations are within easy walking distance, as is the famous Ryman Auditorium.
The State Capitol building will require a slightly longer walk and other points of interest such as Vanderbilt and Belmont Universities are short taxi rides away.
Extended stay parking options are limited to the underground lot directly in front of the hotel,($20 USD per day at the time of this visit) or other 'pay' lots nearby.
There is no free hotel parking.
Practical necessities such as drugstores and convenience markets can be found scattered about the downtown area.
This hotel allows for a wonderfully convenient Nashville experience.
