I read the great reviews but when we walked in we were a little hesitant about eating here. It looked very much like family dinning on a budget. The food was very good though at a very reasonable price. The wait staff was very nice also.

My wife and I went to Demo's for our anniversary while we were visiting Nashville. This is a very nice restaurant with very reasonable prices. The food was fantastic and the service was exemplary. I have seen the negative comments and can only say that our experience could not have been any better. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will look forward to my next trip to Nashville so I can visit Demo's again! By the way, if you think you can't afford it, you will be very pleasantly surprised. 5 stars all the way.
I got the home-made lasagna and it was loaded with tons of meat - so wonderful. My husband got steak & shrimp and loved it. the house salad was very good and the rolls were to die for!!!
My husband and I ate at Demo's while we were in town for the Music City Bowl. The food was okay, nothing special. The service was good, especially considering it was very crowded. This is a good place to go if you happen to be in "The District" but I would think you find much better places in other parts of the city.
There are two restaurants that my son insist on going to every time we visit Nashville, The Loveless and Demo's. This is a steak and pasta house that seems to do everything right. They make most of their own salad dressings, house bread is excellent and this is all before the entree. We've had beef, fish and foul and never had a bad meal at Demo's. Two entrees with two adult beverages is less than $40. We've dined at Demo's in Murfreesboro and if possible it might be better than the one on Commerce Street.
