This restaurant is located on a short, industrial-looking street where one might not expect to find fine dining.
I pulled up to the complimentary valet parking stand and got out. The gentleman asked, "Are you here for Radius 10?"
"Yeah,.....where is it?"
"It's right there."
I was standing in front of it. (I actually like hidden away places like this that are hard to find. It brings a feeling of accomplishment to track them down. A hotel or restaurant that doesn't go to the trouble of putting up a sign at all scores points with me.)
I chose to dine inside facing the large windows that looked out toward the historic Union Station Hotel across the train tracks. The space was sleek, modern, and minimalistict.
Service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. I started with the soup trio. My entree was the lobster pizza. My server said some customers don't like the corn that comes on that dish------but I appreciated the unusual combination of flavors.
I ended with a coffee and the small chocolate souffle. Everything was wonderful.
I asked my server what the name Radius 10 meant. She said it was explained to her during her training but that she couldn't remember what "Radius" meant. She did say that "10" comes from the first three letters in the word Tennessee.......
Drinks + food before gratuity: $70.
